I am slightly biased towards keeping things that work -- or do you see the
dendrographical stuff as broken in some way?
I don't know if the double inheritance (MRO) issue is a problem; this is
why I'm asking. I would default to adding some warnings into the
docstring, but I know of some people that are allergic to my warnings, and
some other people who might find them not sufficient, so I prefer to
ask...
