Why not? That directory ''does'' exist for me. The problem is that the
''file'' `run.c` does not exist ''in'' it.

There is no such directory. I can get to
`local/var/tmp/sage/build/singular-4.0.1p1.p0/src/` but the only
directories in there are `latest` and `shared`.
