Namely, Cython (?) claims this is undefined. I guess this is a change in
Cython, since that isn't introduced by this patch. I found online another
way to test this (`sys.maxsize > 2**32`) so I'm trying with that. Found
another issue, but that was easy. Proceeding with fingers crossed... it's
still compiling, which is already an progress...!
