Comment(by wdj):
I applied the 5th patch to 4.1.1.rc2 on an intel macbook runing 10.4.11. I
got
{{{
The following tests failed:
sage -t "devel/sage/doc/en/bordeaux_2008/birds_other.rst"
sage -t "devel/sage/sage/interfaces/maxima.py"
sage -t "devel/sage/sage/symbolic/expression.pyx"
}}}
None of these failures seem related. So this patch seems to be okay except
for the reference manual addition. The patch author (in an offlist email)
said he would add another patch soon for the ref manual, so I am changing
this to "needs work" for that reason. I cannot vouch for the Cython or
mathematics, though from the experimentation I did, I cn't find a problem.
