 First of all, we already have source code there
 (`$SAGE_ROOT/build/install`). You will probably argue that this is a build
 script, not source code. But then your module is really also a build
 script, not source code (especially given that it's not installed).

 Currently `$SAGE_ROOT/src` is essentially the ''Sage library'', i.e. the
 Python package `sage`. I don't see how build scripts for Sage ''packages''
 belong there.
