 Why not keeping `./sage -i arb` ? If the current `sage -i` is superseded
 by `make arb` from `SAGE_ROOT`, then we could just make `sage -i` call
 `$MAKE --directory=$SAGE_ROOT` (unless `sage -i` is currently used by the
 Makefile) ?
