it is very much related to the doctests.
To me it would make more sense to have a `version()` function in
sage/interfaces/mathematica.py that would return the version. This can
then be analyzed all you want in the doctest code. By the way, do you have
any idea of which version should be kept and which ones should be
discarded? Or do you only want to make my job more complicated?
