You have only one version of sage installed?
I have 6.8 and 6.4 installed, but I am doing everything through the clone
that I building off of git (that is sage 6.8). I am working on a
different computer now than I was 8 months ago when I first wrote the
patch, so I wasn't even working with my original code.
I currently have two branches here: master and ticket/17425
