> Because installing packages with dependencies is better than installing
packages without dependencies. The old command still works, we are just
documenting the high-level interface instead of the low-level command.
So why don't you just change the behaviour of the current command 'sage
-i' so that it installs packages with dependencies? This would mean that
the user interface does not need to be changed.
> OK fine, I see your point. Would you agree with this ticket if we added
an option `sage -m` to run `make` and documentated that?
It would mean that the users can actually hope to run the command that we
give them, which is better. But there still isn't any reason that I see to
tell them to use `sage -m <pkgname>` instead of `sage -i <pkgname>`. Let
us adapt `sage -i`, which is currently used, to run what should be run.
