OK, I've reverted the last commit, and instead added the parameters
`return_group`, `mapping` and `generators` instead of `certificate`. I
hope it's better this way:)
By the way, should the parameters all be named `return_*`? `return_group`
seems to be established, while, for example, `automorphism_group` has a
parameter `orbits` to specify that orbits should be returned.
