In paticular, the need for bison is quite easy to understand, and is quite
normal - there is a parser for the "Lie language" to build, then it's
quite usual to use a tool like bison/yacc to simplify this task.
See [comment:51]: usually, `bison` is a packaging-time dependency, not a
build-time dependency.
