 You mean that there is no way to check that `expr1 == expr2`? I do not
 want to copy/paste anything from other place. If testing equality is not
 available, there is a big problem.

 Using `cmp` for that purpose is a bad idea. The purpose of `cmp` in Python
 2 is to sort things out. Not to compare.
