This results in an unescaped pound sign in build/make/Makefile

$ touch src/bin/#sage#
$ ./configure
}}}
which then breaks building Sage:

$ rm local/bin/sage
$ make all-sage
$ rm local/bin/sage
rm: cannot remove ‘local/bin/sage’: No such file or directory
