I confirm the crash and I'm getting the same traceback.
For regressions in relative number field performance: it would be nice to
have a smaller example where both 6.1 and 7.2 run in reasonable time. We
can then just profile the code. There's a good chance that something will
be sticking out there, leading to the place of the regression.
