Replying to [comment:13 leif]:
> All of the above Singular-related failures vanish when building Singular
with `-O1 -fno-delete-null-pointer-checks`, so there's more optimization
options we apparently have to disable with GCC 6.1.0.
With `env CXXFLAGS="-fno-strict-overflow -fno-delete-null-pointer-checks"
./sage -f singular` all Singular-related doctests again pass in `make
ptestlong`.
