This is "needs review", but it looks like these patches have been merged
-- changesets 13089:ab082b3c94fe and 13090:06b7dd9afde9. Perhaps having
released 4.1.2 and 4.2, with plenty of people reporting all doctests
passing, counts as a sort of positive review?
