One of the aspects of TOS's prime_sieve.c is that it has an initialization
phase for an interval. I'm not sure if the code already does this, but we
should make sure to think about not repeating initialization more than
needed. Leif, I think you understand TOS's prime_sieve.c code better than
me, what do you think?[[BR]]
