quotient rings (i.e. there, just do NFComponent.S_units(...) and have the
real work going on in number fields). I'll post a patch later on which
does this.
I'm glad you agree -- sorry to have suggested more work when you have
already done so much. I'll be happy to review any new patch, of course.
