I fixed drkirkby's name anyway -- the link I posted gives the new version.
On my OS X 10.6 machine, with a fresh build (based on 4.3.1.alpha2, with
the new python spkg and the new matplotlib spkg, plus the two patches here
for the Sage library):

What do we need to do for a positive review? I'm happy with it, but I'm
listed as one of the authors. Probably someone else should look it over,
too.
