 The first problem is outside  maxima, since I have

 sage: maxima("logconcoeffp:'logconfun")
 logconfun
 sage: maxima("logconfun(m):= true")
 logconfun(m):=true
 sage: maxima("logcontract(x*log(9))")
 log(9^x)
 }}}
 I have to investigate the problem in details (perhaps tomorrow).

 Yes, the second "problem" is a fixed bug from Maxima :)
