PS (not LQ): I do think that we should also eventually have
{{{implementation="mpmath"}}} as an option, if only for verification
purposes; but I would prefer not to overload this ticket, since it's
already two years old.
PPS: I'll change the milestone back to sage-wishlist until this is ready
for review.
