I've attached V7, which is V6 + Jason Grout's "blending" patch + doctest /
docstring fixes.
Please review, experiment, blend, plot, test, etc., and let me know if
there are problems!
I've added Bill Cauchois to the Cc: list, since I've updated some tests in
`sage.plot.plot3d.base` (cf. #7985, #8235).
