The patch applies fine to 4.3.4.alpha1 and tests in the elliptic_curves
directory pass.
I think that someone with more knowledge of the theory than I have in my
head should look at it too -- robertwb? rlm?
As there's a lot of documentation added I checked that the reference
manual builds fine, but did not look at the output (since I was testing on
a remote machine).
