Two faces of a polyhedron / cones of a fan are adjacent if all of the
following holds:
* both have the same dimension k
* both contain a common (k-1)-face if k>0
* both are contained in a common (k+1)-face if k<dim
I don't think that there are any booby traps in that definition :-)
