I'm currently too tired to upload a reviewer patch adding more comments to
{{{SPKG.txt}}} and perhaps {{{spkg-install}}}; it should perhaps also
contain a link to the sage-devel thread [http://groups.google.com/group
/sage-devel/browse_thread/thread/fbf5b7f781c3f523# "Is flex needed to
build Sage?"] which has further suggestions.
We could also update the ticket description to briefly reflect the
outcome.
