This is great. Just one more thing: there should be some sort of doctest
illustrating this (the question of how to change the color of an implicit
plot has come up before, and it's bound to come up again, so it'd be nice
to just point them to the documentation of the function).
Just take your favorite example and put it in the EXAMPLES section of the
docstring of the function, following the format of the examples around it.
