 trac_9343-review.patch).

Yes, passed (without the new lcalc spkg) {{{ptestlong}}} with Sage
 4.5.3.alpha0 + #9475 + #9717 on Fedora 13 x86 (Pentium 4 Prescott, gcc
4.4.4, native code, O2; I just installed the new spkgs and applied the two
patches, i.e. did not build from scratch).

After that, I applied John's reviewer patch, and all (long) tests in
 {{{sage/schemes/elliptic_curves/ell_rational_field.py}}} also passed.

 > So now the confusion over the lcalc spkg has been sorted, we are back on
 track....

Yes. I could reproduce the build error of the old lcalc spkg with new
 PARI; John's new one (p2) at #9592 (Jeroen's p1 rebased on Sage's current
 one) builds.

The number (and type) of warnings I get by doing so (building lcalc)
though is IMHO a shame. Besides other annoying warnings, there are twelve
deprecation warnings (with gcc 4.4.4). (Of course many warnings have the
same origin, but that makes fixing them even easier. This isn't meant as
an offense, but rather a suggestion.)
