I've read and understood the new and old versions of fpu.c, and I confirm
that the new version is equivalent to the old version under Linux but is
more portable in general. So positive review for fpu.c .
(I'll go ahead and mark as positive review, relying on mpatel's review for
everything except fpu.c .)
