Yes, that looks fine. You should have put the patch on the trac server,
but I will do that for you. I'm giving it positive review.
As a matter of interest, are you aware of any reason the package should
not be updated to the latest, which is 1.2.1? If not, I'll update the
package version at the same time as adding the test code to #9767.
