 For an executable that doesn't make that much sense, but {{{gp-sta}}}[tic]
 is tested against {{{gp-dyn}}}[amic], which isn't bad.

 And since PARI is (also) a library, it's pretty normal to build both.
 (Every proper library does this, at least if you {{{--enable-shared}}} and
 {{{--enable-static}}}, depending on what the defaults are.)
