Here are the logs on mark2 (Solaris on sparc) for the old cddlib spkg and
the new one, with SAGE_CHECK=yes, built one right after the other (so they
were definitely built with the same settings):

The test suite for p7 passes, and the test suite for p8 has lots of seg
faults.
