 That's now #10176, currently needing review. There's a new SageNB spkg to
 get around strange behavoir on '''some''' OpenSuSE (11.1 and 11.3, both
 x86_64) installations (i.e., the problem did not arise on an OpenSuSE 11.1
 x86_64 machine on Skynet, unless the buildbot cheated).
