I just got this on openSUSE 11.3

No readline headers found. Please install OpenSuSE's development
version of libreadline 6.x since building the version currently
shipped with Sage would break your shell (bash). Sorry.

so I'll follow the instructions.
Why do people keep calling this openSuSE? It was in the title, and now I
see it in Leif's comments. According to the openSUSE web page, it is
openSUSE.
