Macro, I recommend you to take a look at my new PARI spkg at #10430, you
can download it from
[http://sage.math.washington.edu/home/jdemeyer/spkg/pari-2.4.3.alpha.p1.spkg].
Could you please check whether this fixes the issues you had? If this
works, you should remove the workarounds for these bugs.
