Thanks, it did kind of work. At some point the process got stuck, but when
I then did `make` in `SAGE_ROOT`, the upgrade did succeed (at least so it
seems).
The patches apply. I don't know if I will be able to do reviewing any time
soon, since currently I only have remote access to my computer via rather
slow internet (237 kB/s).
