 Dave you're absolutely right. This is a numerical algorithm including
 Simpson's method and Nystrom method integration etc. so even if the
 numerics are done to arbitrary precision, it will still be numeric and
 will verify only itself. There are, however, a few cases where the
 analytic Riemann Map is computable, and I intend to add a clearly labeled
 test case for that. Note also that the last two doctests are signficant
 failures, the numpy upgrade seems to have changed the way it handles
 obscure complex types.

 I will be travelling for a few days, but I should have a patch up that
 improves the doctests and fixes that error by Thursday or Friday.
