I suggest to reword line 2945 like "A matrix that is nearly Hermitian, but
for one non-real" and I would introduce one keyword for the RDF
implementation deciding whether the entries are naively compared (quick
and what students might assume) or the svd is applied and the imaginary
values considered (numerically much better conditioned).
