The updated gap-4.4.12.p8 now contains a separate `libgap/` directory with
a copy of the gap kernel sources and new autoconf scripts that can
actually build a shared library on Solaris.
While this layout is probably not the final word in how to build libgap, I
think its good enough to test it on a wider audience. Once we are
confident that it works well we should contact upstream and find out in
how far they are willing to add shared library support. Ready for review!
