 Thinking about this particular point, I don't see the need for documenting
 what component(s) of Sage uses Perl. I added R, as there were already
 packages mentioned, but really all the user needs to know is that they
 need a version of Perl that is >= 5.8.0. Whether it's use by R, NTL, Pari
 or foobar is not really important.
