But my point is that this package does appear to have had the optimisation
randomly increased several times, which for Singular is a particularly bad
idea, as it has caused numerous problems. Your wording gives no hint of
the dangers. We are not being compatible for the sake of it - we are doing
so as it is dangerous to do otherwise.
