Just a comment (hopefully I'll be able to review at all - even with the
Xcode update, I still can't get past !PolyBoRi) - any reason for checking
this, rather than uname=Darwin and then the Xcode version/gcc version?
Have we had any complaints on other platforms for gcc 4.0.x?
