I'm attaching a diff for the flint one (I may also need to do a second
upgrade to flint for ntl, since on Cygwin we move certain ntl files out of
the way and this would create another one). I used `$CP -p` instead of
just `cp` because the rest of the script does that, but I'm confused as to
what systems don't use `cp` for their copy - maybe some HP or IBM ones?
