it. It was really, really behind on updates, and Windows just kept on
applying update and update (even after it told me there were no more
updates to apply, it somehow managed to download some new updates....). It
seems to have stopped updating now. Fingers crossed.
Yes, you are totally right about this problem. Windows just does it again
and again without really asking.
You know what I do? I disconnect from the internet :) But that is on a
computer I rented from our IT just for this purpose, hard to do with a
main computer.
