I very strongly agree that outputting the map as strings is not
acceptable, and makes using this output impossible. I said as much in an
earlier review, and the response was that the author could not work out
how to return maps.
In a spirit of cooperation and so that this can eventually be finished,
let's try to carry out Marco's suggestion to construct a hom properly. I
seem to remember that when I tried this last it failed for some rather
silly reason, but we really should be able to get this to work!
