 We so far '''couldn't''' reproduce the error on
  * !ArchLinux (kernel 2.6.39-ARCH) with Sage 4.7 built from source, Core
 i5 M (x86_64), where the system's version of `libreadline` gets copied,
  * openSUSE 11.4 with Sage 4.7, built on SLES where apparently Sage's
 `libreadline` was built and is used,
  * (not really surprising) some Ubuntus (x86_64) with Sage 4.7 and
 4.7.1.alpha2.
