Comment:
The tests pass, hence, it was not necessary to have a special case for
zero if `value_from_pari==True`.
I have attached a referee patch, that documents the arguments and adds a
few examples. I hope my words are clear and concise enough, as the
possible input can be very different.
If you think that my referee patch needs work, then feel free to complain.
