* What does "cheating about assumptions" mean (what are the assumptions)?
* What exactly does not work in coercion (perhaps I can fix it?)?
* What are "the default values" (the only default is
`order="degrevlex"`)?
* How do they interfere with non-degeneracy conditions? What are these
conditions?
