 Yes, I should have returned to this ticket earlier, but was quite busy and
 forgot.

 Sebastian, please separate the bug fix patch from changes to the interface
 (also with ''meaningful'' commit messages; a changelog entry is missing,
 too).

 I think we should merge the former into 4.7.2 (since it could be
 considered a blocker); for the interface change, I'd suggest the
 following:

  * Create an fmpq_poly 0.1.10 package (of course based on the 0.1.9) with
 both the bug fix and the interface change.

  * Upgrade Sage's version to that on another ticket.
