Investigating...
This `\verb|` thing in the output seems new to me and it seems it's
something I overlooked in the later patches. In the
[attachment:trac_11775_pretty_print_multiple_args.diff original patch],
the output didn't contain `\verb|`. Maybe this is why the pretty_print is
breaking this stuff.
