P.S.: You should give more details about your configuration.
On many systems, `libtermcap.so` is (or used to be) just a symbolic link
to `libncurses.so`. On Oneiric, with `libreadline-dev` installed,
`libncurses.so` is a ''linker script'', which causes problems.
